Dog-Friendly Events Make Big Comeback for Spring 2022
We are in the midst of a dog-friendly event resurgence as vineyards, wineries, breweries and meaderies return to pre-pandemic level activities. In 2020, with the lockdown, there were no events. In 2021, we tracked a few, but far fewer than in previous years. Now, in 2022, Cork Hounds is tracking 11 dog-friendly events for Spring! And we know there are more out there. If you know of an upcoming event or are hosting one, please submit to our event form. It’s free and helps get the word out.
Many of these events help raise money for pet charities such as a local humane society or rescue. Events typically charge a ticket fee with a portion of the proceeds going to the pet charity.
Cork Hounds has attended events, like Wine 4 Paws in Paso Robles, California. They are a great way to explore vineyards, wineries, breweries and meaderies, meet fellow wine/beer-dog loving owners and support a worthwhile charity. Just remember to be watchful of your pup, there will be many dogs at these events, and follow the pet policies of the business you are at.
Most of all, enjoy your time and if you can, send us a photo from your visit.
